Hailey 5 Months Old

Can you believe you are five months old. It amazed us how much you have changed. Your Daddy and I were looking back at your newborn pictures and you don't even look like the same baby. You were so tiny. You are growing up so fast. At five months you weigh 16.5 pounds and are 26 inches long. That means that since you were born you have gained 8 pounds and 6 inches. Right now you are wearing 3-6 month clothes, but it won't be long before we move to the next size. I think we can make it to 6 months before moving up in size. You are becoming so much fun....not that you weren't last month. Things are different now. You have so much personality. It is very rare that you are not smiling. You are such a happy little girl. In the last month or two you had started sucking your thumb, but that is getting better and your mommy is very happy for that. We think you will be getting your first tooth real soon. You constantly have you fingers in your mouth and you bite down on them hard. Not to mention, you put everything in your mouth. You have found a liking in your feet. First you started grabbing them and now you can put them in your mouth. The other day you were sucking on all your toes. You are rolling in both directions with ease. In fact you are very quick at it now....especially if there is a toy within reach. You are making all kinds of sounds. You are getting better at laughing and you make this funny gasping sound. You love to fly in the air...up, down, side-to-side, and fast. It puts the biggest smile on your face. Nights have gotten harder for you. You had been sleeping nights, but now you are up constantly....I think because of your teeth.
