Out for a Stroll

The weather here has been gorgeous the past few weeks....finally getting that nice fall weather, so we decided to take the kids out on a little hike/walk.  We went down to Maclay Flats and took the 1 mile loop.  Hailey walked this time while Sydney rode for the first time in the backpack.  Kevin enjoyed not packing Hailey and loved how light Sydney was in the pack.

The walk was not quick.  Hailey looked at and picked up everything she could find: flowers, pine cones, tree needles, leaves, rocks.  She made sure she grabbed one for each of us, including a small thing for Sydney.  She was stuffing her pockets saying, "I need these things for hunting."

Sydney enjoyed her first ride in the pack. She was pretty chill and just swung her legs the whole time.
