Easter Weekend 2013

Easter....always a fantastic, yet hectic weekend filled with lots of family and fun.  As in past years, we traveled to both Conrad and Cascade.  We are so fortunate to be able to travel to both and see everyone.  Thanks to both families for such a wonderful weekend.

In Conrad we spent time egg hunting and dying eggs.  Egg hunts are always a hit and even better when there's money involved.  After finding all the eggs in Nana and Papa's backyard, the girls put them back out and hunted again and again.

 This girl is speedy.

Go Hailey Go....she was determined to collect all the shinny eggs.

That's a big basket of eggs.

So cute....we love you!

Egg dying is becoming easier and easier by the year.  There is far less mess and less overall hand dunking in the dye.  Of course, there is always an army colored egg when Kevin is involved!

 Check this one out Mom.

They are always making the same face...."really Mom, another pictures."

Sydney getting some help dying her eggs.  Thanks for helping Aunt Katie.

Gotta love this shot.  Dying eggs with attitude!

In addition to having an egg hunt at the Melby's house, we also attended the town egg hunt at the park.

We then traveled to Cascade to spend Easter day with the Belotes.  The girls always have so much fun being around all of their cousins:  hunting for eggs, running around the farm, and lots and lots of laughing.  As in Conrad, Nana and Papp had an egg hunt for the kids.  Each kid was told to look for a certain colored egg....this made hiding them a lot of fun.  Tanners were hidden the hardest and the little girls (Sydney and Avery's) were the easiest colors to find.  We had wonderful Easter dinner with the whole crowd.

Hailey got yellow Crocs, bubble tape, bubbles, chalk, markers, ear buds, a wand, and a few desk supplies.  Sydney got an earring holder and earrings, bubble tape, chalk, markers, ear buds, and a wand.

All the cousins wen to the Easter Egg Hunt in Cascade.  They divide the park into age groups.  Hailey was in the 3 and 4 year old group and Sydney was in the 1 and 2 year old group.  Sure makes it nice to not have to compete with the older kids.

Little Miss looking good.

The cousins, all together, looking good!

The "big" kids got M&M shirts from Nana and Papa.  Go Kyle Busch!
