Hailey's First Day of Kindergarten

Well, the time has finally come.  Hailey started Kindergarten.  She has been so excited all summer and has looked forward to this day for a long time....even though she really didn't know what to expect.

She woke up early on her first day....even before her alarm clock.  She showered, ate breakfast, and then we sat around...just waiting in anticipation.  Mommy and Daddy got to go with her on her first day (which was only 2 hours).

When we arrived at school Hailey found her locker and put away her school supplies.  She met Mr. Schaefer and they began their day.  She was beaming!

The second day of school was a full day and she got to take the bus.  Same thing, she woke up early, showered, and was ready to go.  She was so giddy and excited to ride the bus to school...in fact she forgot to give Sydney and I a kiss goodbye.  She was all smiles!

Hailey is loving Kindergarten.  She talks a lot about the music, gym, library, and the magic board.  She can hardly wait to be the next student to bring home the mystery box.  Homework is starting this week and Hailey says its all TOO easy.  "It's stuff we did in preschool....like 2 years ago."  Just wait Hailey...it's coming!
