We started out the evening walking through the livestock barns, checking out all the animals. Hailey wasn't so sure about most of them and definitely didn't want to pet them. We also went to the petting zoo and fed the horse and cow. Hailey didn't like the feel of the animals tongue on her hand, so that didn't last long. At least this year nothing chased her or tried to bite her. So all in all, a good hear. Sydney of course just chilled in the stroller and took in the sites.
After the animals, we hit the food vendors. All Hailey could ask for is the hot dog on a stick. So, that is what she got....except, in her own words, "I want the bread part off". She also ate most of Katie and my corn on the cob. As you can see from the picture below, Sydney spent the better part of an hour gnawing on the cob.
Last year Hailey had a great time riding the toddler rides, but this year she was ready for the big time. As we walked up to the fair gate, she insisted that she ride the Zipper. She didn't really understand why she couldn't go. She did ride the toddler rides again, but this year she was big enough to go on the roller coaster. We were a little uncertain if she would like it, but she LOVED it. As she walked of she was asking if she could go again. She did go two times!
Hailey waiting to ride the roller coaster.
Here we go.....
Hold on!
Riding the airplanes and shooting the guns!
We had a great time and spent several hours there, leaving just as it was getting dark so Hailey could see the lights. Hailey can't wait for next year. She is going to take Sydney on the rides with her.
