Go BOBCATS!
This is our third year attending the homecoming parade and as usual Hailey had a great time. It blows my my every year how long this thing is....an hour and a half. That is one long parade. Luckily you can get your three year old to watch the whole thing if she knows there will be candy handed out all the way until the end.

Hailey watching all the action.
Hailey and Sydney both loved the marching bands and danced every time one came down the street. I am guessing there were 8 different bands. Sydney even practiced her standing skills and did a little bouncing with out anyone supporting her. We were impressed.
Sydney checking it all out.
Hailey was pretty into the candy. Toward the end she was walking up to people in the parade and asking them for candy. She came home with pockets full of it. Nothing like being totally stocked and Halloween is still weeks away.
The one thing that haunts Hailey is mascots. She litteraly crawls up your leg and screams in terror when she sees one. I keep thinking this is going to get better with age, but so far that is not the case. With the first few she saw during the parade, she freaked out and ran back to daddy away from the parade. Toward the end she would stay put, but was frozen and made no eye contact with it. Lets hope that gets better by next summer...we are going to Disney World.
After the parade, we went to lunch with the Finks and had a great time. We couldn't leave without going to Dragon's Hallow, so here a few pictures from the park.
Sydney enjoying the slide.
