The Best of 2011

I can't believe it is 2012.  Where did the year go?  Here are some of my favorite memories from the year....sorry the list is so long, I had a hard time making the list shorter.  2011 was a great year!

#1- (January) Hailey making Daddy his birthday cake.  She was so proud of her work.

#2- (January) Building a snowman with the girls.  Sydney was only 2 months old.  You can kind of see her sitting on the porch.

#3- (January) So blessed to have such a beautiful and loving family.  Hailey was and still is so good with Sydney and Sydney is such a joy in our lives.

#4- (March) Hailey got her ears pierced...She talked for months about not wanting to do it and finally the day came when she asked to have them done.  She loves to change her earrings and match them to her clothes.

#5- (February) Sydney's first trip to the pool.  She didn't get in the water for long, but I think she'll be a water baby just like Hailey.

#6- (March) Visiting the lamb farm and gearing up for Spring.  Hailey had a great time feeding and petting the lambs.

#7 (March)  The family hiked to the M.  This was Sydney's first trip up the Mountain.  

#8 (April)  Eater with family.  Hailey really enjoyed Easter Egg hunting...especially with her cousins.

#9- (May) Daddy got to introduce the girls to Papa Alex.  What a special and emotional time for all.

#10- (May)  Sydney eats her first food....Sweet Potato. 

#11- (June)  Hailey gets her first bike and learns to ride.

#12- (June) Uncle Alex comes to visit from Minneapolis.

#13- (June)  Hailey takes swim lessons and loves it.  She did so great with the "big" kids.

#14- (July)  Lots of camping this summer.  Hailey enjoyed tubing (even by herself) and both girls loved the boat.

#15- (July)  Sydney got her first black eye....right before pictures.

#16- (July)  Sydney was on the move.  She was crawling and all over.

#17- (July)  Hailey turns 3!  What an amazing little girl.

#18- (August)  We visited the fair in Missoula.  Hailey loved the rides and even went on the roller coaster a few times, while Sydney was really into eating corn on the cob.

#19- (August)  Both girls where enjoying the pool and we were going their often.  

#20- (August)  Sydney was standing more often and the girls began playing together...which made it really nice for Mommy!

#21- (September)- Sydney was baptized.

#22- (September)  Sydney was learning to walk with the help of her big sister Hailey

#23- (September)  Hailey's first day of school at The Good Shepherd....with teacher Miss. Maranda.

#24- (October) We all went to Bozeman for some Bobcat Football!  GO CATS!

#25 (October)- Hailey made caramel apples for fall.

#26- (October)  The girls at the pumpkin patch...an annual event in the fall.

#27- (October)  The picture I took of Sydney to win a photo contest.  She is a cute little pumpkin.

#28- (October)  Happy Halloween....2011.  Both girls were ladybugs...per Hailey.

#29- (November)  Mommy and Daddy got away for a little us time in Hawaii.

#30- (November)  First sledding trip of the year....with my girls!

#31- (November)  Kevin and Hailey rock climbing...one of Kevin's favorite hobbies.

#32- (November)  Sydney starts walking...she is just so tiny and seems to little to be on the move!

#33- (November)  Sydney turns one....she is so beautiful....we love you!

 

#34- (December)  Christmas tree hunting with the family.

 #35- (December)  Meeting Santa and putting in their requests for Christmas.

#36- (December)  Christmas programs for school and church.  What fun to watch...makes me realize how big our little girl is getting.

 #37- (December)  Awesome Christmas with both our families....so thankful for all!
