While at the farm we decorated gingerbread houses with all the cousins. I worked hard for weeks prior to Christmas getting 6 houses ready for the big day. All the kids were so excited to decorate a house. Kind of fun to watch the different levels of work: Tanner 12, Jordan 7, Madison 5, Hailey 3, and Brooke 2. They all turned out so cute and festive!
Look at all that focus taking place. Everything is just the right spot (according to Hailey).
Most of the group...working away on their houses.
Sneaking a little taste!
Hailey with her finished product. Every time I tried to take a picture of her with her house, she pretended to eat it. Kind of cute!
The gang and their gingerbread houses....good job everyone!
Now on to Christmas round 2 at our house. We were lucky enough to have most of Kevin's family join us in Missoula for a little Christmas celebration. Unfortunately Patrick is out of state working....Hailey definitely missed him not being here. We had a great time hanging out with family and catching up with those we don't see very often.
Sydney opening her American Girl ~ Bitty Baby....still no name.
It's feeding time.
Hailey opening her American girl ~ Bitty Baby...with hair!
Checking out her new dolly....Hailey loves that she looks just like her. After a few days of thinking, Hailey decided to name her Holly.
Awesome gift from Nana and Papa.....matching PJ's for Hailey and Holly.
I have to say....Alex may have gotten Hailey her favorite thing this Christmas and it was so simple. A box of different size and shape pipe cleaners. She loves them and wants to play with them constantly. She was really into making a bouquet of flowers for the center of the table. Her is a cat the Uncle Alex made for her.
Hailey and Aunt Sarah playing "Two little Black Birds." Hailey was pretty impressed and even more so when Sarah showed her the trick!
Hailey and Kevin playing the X-Box Kinect. Hailey liked dancing and seeing herself on the TV.
The girls in front of the Christmas tree....me practicing using a new flash and making Boken with the lights in the background....getting better.
We had a fabulous Christmas and are so thankful for all the time we got to spend with both families. Christmas is always such a magical time of year and with each year we are having more and more fun as the girls get older. What am I most thankful for this Christmas.....that Kevin was home for two weeks with us. It was awesome and I hated to see him go back to work this morning....so did Hailey.
