Gingerbread Houses....a Family Favorite

Decorating gingerbread houses is now a family tradition for our family.  As a young child Kevin and his family decorated houses and the tradition continues.  This is our third year decoration and each year is getting better and better....and sometimes messier.

Waiting patiently for the houses to be built and candy bowls to be filled.

Sydney helping to fill the candy bowls.

Is it time yet???

Sydney decorating her house....and eating lots of candy.  For some reason she liked the frosting...which isn't very good.

Running the frosting bag.

Sydney and Nana with her finished masterpiece.

Hailey's old enough now to have a plan and know what she wants to do.  Lots of thought going into this one!

 Hailey's favorite part...the frosting bag.

Hailey and her finished gingerbread house.  She chose to give it to Nana and Papa Belote.  She wanted them to be there for the decorating, but we didn't get it done while they were in Conrad.  Thanks to Katie for dropping it off to them!  Hailey got to Facetime with Nana and Papa and see them with her house.

Our family and our houses.

One of my favorites from the morning.  They love each other SO much.
