Color Me Rad

Our family took part in the Color Me Rad race on May 5th.  We tried to explain to the girls what the race would be like.  We even showed them pictures online.   Still.....they didn't get it.  They were confused as to why we would wear white.  They would very soon understand.

When we registered, the national site said strollers welcome, so we figured Sydney would be able to do the race.  At registration we were told the course would NOT be accepting strollers.  So, Sydney got to ride on Mom and Dad's shoulders.  Total distance 5K.  It was a very hilly and rough path.  There is NO way a stroller would have made it.

Time to head home.  So much fun...we'll be doing this again next year for sure!
