Grow Garden Grow

Hailey has been asking for months if we could PLEASE plant a garden this summer.  Mommy wasn't thrilled with the idea (because I have to take care of it).  Daddy said, "Lets do it."  So, this past two weekends were spent putting in a planter box, soil, and seeds.  And just like that......we have a garden.

Both girls loved putting the garden together, but Hailey insists it is HER garden.  She keeps telling Sydney not to touch things and only she gets to water it.  Funny.....first day to water the garden, Hailey played on the play set and let Sydney do all the watering.  I'm pretty sure that's how the entire summer is going to go!

When deciding what to plant, we went with things the girls will eat:  carrots, beans, broccoli, peppers, and cilantro (for Mommy and Daddy).
