A Trip to the Circus

I'm not a huge circus person and have passed it up over the last few years, but this year with Kevin out of town it sounded like a good opportunity to pass the time.  I have to say....I was impressed.  They did an excellent job and it was much better than I had anticipated.

The girls have heard of the circus in books and on TV, but couldn't really comprehend that it was a "real" thing.  They were so excited to go see the elephants and other animals, but were most  excited for the cotton candy.  They were warned before going that Mommy would not be buying them any toys, they were NOT riding on the ponies, elephants, or even holding the snakes.  They were told DON'T ASK and they didn't.  They were such good girls and I was so proud of how well they behaved....for 3 hours. 

We had a great time with the Finks and the girls are looking forward to going again next year!
