Tree Decorating

As soon as Thanksgiving is over, bring on Christmas.  This time of year is fast and furious and it starts with Sydney's birthday and doesn't end until after the first of the year.  Even though this time is exhausting, decorating the house and tree always gets us in the Christmas mood.

We always put up 2 trees.  One that is fake and one that we cut down from the forest.  This year was a bit different.  Kevin and Sydney both came down with the flu and therefore, no cutting down a tree this year.  The girls and I went to the Pink Grizzly instead and picked out the perfect tree for the basement.

The girls enjoyed putting up the ornaments....being very selective as to which ones they will put up first.  And.....at the very end, you can't forget the candy canes and the angle.
